_Reverend  E. J. was ordained in 1990 and has been serving on the faculty of Unity Institute as Chair of Bible Studies since 2005.

She is a very popular and inspirational Unity Minister whose great love is teaching the Bible through the lens of science and Spiral Dynamics. She helps us view the Bible
through the writer's eyes.

E.J. has a wide range of spiritual pursuits and interests.  She belongs to many New Thought Organizations, including being a Jesus Seminar Associate. She has a wide professional background in administrative and logistics positions as a Career Civil Servant. 

E.J. articulates many of the organizing principles around which life revolves and always keeps her audiences on the edge of their chairs.

_Rev. Billie Blain has served the Unity movement since 1980. She successfully served churches in Auburn and Sacramento, CA, and Dayton, OH before moving to Portland in 2006. She led these churches with wisdom, joy and enthusiasm, teaching, in a profound way, the spiritual principles upon which Unity is based.

Rev. Billie’s wide array of spiritual knowledge comes from her unending search for wisdom from diverse sources. She teaches that everything is energy and that energy is nothing less than LOVE, evolving through the consciousness of humans. Her mission is to empower people to express their life’s purpose, through love, one heart at a time.

_Rev. Lisa Davis, ordained in 1998, is a dynamic 2nd generation Unity minister. Born and raised in Unity, she joined Unity of Portland in early 2007.  Lisa currently serves with her mother, Rev. Billie Blain. They are the only mother - daughter ministry team serving together in the Unity movement.

Lisa Davis is an ordained Unity Minister and brings to us a unique blend of
management expertise, exceptional speaking skills, strong passion for spiritual principles, and a deep sense of the importance of integrity within our world. She is dedicated to the practice of Truth and building a community of higher consciousness. Lisa knows that, together, we can create the spiritual community which love is building now … and she is honored to be of service to this world and this growing community.

Rev. Lisa founded the Building Bridges International Outreach Ministry, working with Unity churches in Nigeria, supporting ministers and congregations to create healthy New Thought communities in Africa.

Ed has been a part of the Unity movement for 30 years, most of those as a Unity minister. He has served Unity communities in Georgia, Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Texas.  Ed is now in his 5th year at Unity of the Valley. 

His focus continues to evolve into new areas of interest.  This includes the healing of the sexual-spiritual disconnect, the emergence of the masculine-feminine balance in life, the latest revelations about prayer, and the relationship between spirituality and science.  Along with their amazing dog Lancelot, Ed and Katherine enjoy all things French, share a love for music and exploring the beauty of Oregon and the Northwest.
